We are down to my number one narcissist of 2025! But before I name that person, let’s review my other four. Coming in at the number five spot were the Bezoses who are worth billions and could do so much good for those who are not so privileged but made their charitable cause to buy the Met Gala where they can schmooze other rich and famous people and raise money to buy fashion displays for the museum. I love the giving spirit. Fourth place was Gayle King whose only redeeming value is in being Oprah’s bestie. In 2025, she spent all of 10 minutes in a self-driving rocket and 2 minutes in space and then had the nerve to call herself an actual astronaut and decry anyone who challenged that assertion.

In our third spot was Jasmine Crockett who is supposed to be representing her constituency in Congress but exists only as clickbait and makes male staffers carry her purse. Our second place trophy goes to the California royalty of Harry and Meghan who expect British taxpayers to foot the bill for their security with no responsibility to the country or the family that gave them the titles they are monetizing. They then run through staff like used tissues and burn bridges with both of their families.

And now, we are at our number one spot on the countdown. AND THE WINNER IS. . .

Donald J Trump.

We’ve always known he is a first class narcissist since every building that he has built has his name emblazoned on the side. He’s had Trump Wine, Trump Steaks, and Trump Watches. His government program to reduce drug prices is called TrumpRx. But I’m not referencing any of those items as proof.

In an unprecedented move, he dumped the entire board of The Kennedy Center and replaced them with his own sycophants. He then appointed himself chairman of that board. Said board then voted to add his name to the iconic venue and call it The Donald J Trump and John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Within 24 hours, they had added his name to the building, indicating that the discussion began months prior to the actual vote.

In a single act, he not only took control of the venue but placed his name above the John Kennedy honorific. Then when the Kennedy family balked at the move, he trashed them on social media at the same time that Kennedy’s 35 year old granddaughter was dying from leukemia.

Narcissistic, self-absorbed, and cruel all in one neat little package.

I will admit to being in support of many of Trump’s policies and, yes, I voted for him. But in so doing, I believe that gives me an even greater responsibility to call him out when he acts like a narcissistic ass.

So for that point alone, I award our president the trophy as the top narcissist of 2025.
